Being a single Christian man and keeping your purity isn’t easy. There is so much access to women, pornography, sex on TV it makes it more challenging than ever. My experience is that fasting can help you take control of the urges over your body and train it. However, that isn’t the silver bullet remedy. After all you are still going to have moments where you struggle and you must begin to pray and WALK AWAY from the opportunity to satisfy the flesh. When I say walk away, I mean that literally move. If you’re watching TV then take a walk outside. If your with somebody then leave their place. Only radical action can keep your purity intact and the prayer of repentance regardless of how tired you are of even your own self has to be done every time you sin. For if you let sin build it will get stronger and each time it becomes easier to be trapped and you walk away from God more and more. So stay vigilante and purity is attainable.
